Eight miles south of Rock Hall, where the Chesapeake Bay and Chester River converge, sits a 2285 acre national wildlife refuge. The Lodge Visitor Contact Station is a historic (1933) hunting lodge featuring exhibits, maps, a bookstore, and gift shop. The refuge offers extraordinary birding experiences, hiking, boating, fishing, and crabbing.

Lodge Hours: Friday through Sunday 11:00am-3:00pm year round. Closed on hunt days and federal holidays.

Wildlife Refuge: Open daily, year-round, sunrise to sunset. Closed to the public on hunt days.
